Georgia's Home Electrification & Appliance Rebates (HEAR) — administered by GEFA, funded by the Inflation Reduction Act. American Comfort is a GEFA-approved HVAC contractor. We handle eligible heat pump and electrical upgrade projects and manage the rebate application.

American Comfort handles eligible heat pump, panel upgrade, and wiring projects. HEAR rebates can cover up to the $14,000 household program cap, depending on scope, income bracket, and GEFA approval.
HEAR also covers water heaters, insulation, dryers, ranges, and other eligible measures outside our project scope. Find an approved contractor at energyrebates.georgia.gov.
You can run multiple HEAR projects at one address — different contractors handle different measures. The $14,000 total household cap still applies.
Applications run through GEFA's Neighborly portal. Typical timeline: 6–8 weeks.
